I've had no luck in searching the baptismal records for Purepero and Tlazazalca, Michoacan. I have seen variations on the name Nomelin, like Lomelin, Numelin, Romelin, etc. I have attached a copy of their marriage record. Any insights or suggestions are appreciated.

This match popped up...... it all seems to line up except Maria Ygnacia's Nomeli mother's name is Vega and not Fernandes? Could that marriage record just be wrong and her mother's surname is really Vega???

I don't think so. I had found the other Maria Ygnacia Lomelin also. She is also married to a Miguel Espinosa. They are from Jalisco. (Jose) Miguel Espinosa is one of my 3rd great grandfathers. He is from Purepero, Michoacan. As is the Ygnacia Nomelin (Lomelin?) listed in the marriage record. Thank you for your help.
I finally was able to figure…
I finally was able to figure this out and corroborate with records. Using the 1784 Census from Purepero, Michoacan helped a lot. Turns out Maria Ygnacia Lomelin's mother is listed as a Duarte. As I went back further ancestors are listed with the last name Duarte Fernandez. So I was able to confirm Maria Ygnacia's parents as Jose Ramon Lomelin and Maria de la Cruz Duarte (Fernandez). Thank you.
